My name is Valeria Amaral. I was born in Miami, but of hispanic decent. My mother is Colombian and my father is Cuban. I have always been intrigued by fashion. The concept of making a woman feel beautiful and powerful by the clothing she wears is an amazing concept. As a designer I am captivated by the idea that what I design are the garments women live their lives in.

My personal design aesthetic is elegant and sophisticated. I like to design sportswear, clothing for everyday while bringing an element of style to every piece. As a designer I am open to the concept of designing for the brands customer. I have also worked in retail for a few years and that has developed my understanding of the business aspect and direct needs of the consumer. I have worked for different brands and am aware that every woman's needs and wants are always different and changing. That is part of the reason I love fashion so much, there is always the element of creating something new and always moving forward.
